Commercializing Science Research

Resume Workshop

Procam is a company that specialises in finding the right highly educated people for jobs in the IT-branche. This means that they have a lot of experience with what a resume should look like and how to write it in the best possible way. During this workshop they will use their experience to give general advice about writing a resume, as well as give you some personal pointers about your own resume. A PhD position, what to expect?

After graduation many students would like to obtain a PhD position. By means of a panel discussion PhD students from the different Research Institutes within the Graduate School will tell you more about their experiences as a PhD student. It will be an interactive meeting in which the panel will answer the questions you have regarding a PhD position. Prior to the panel discussion dr. J.B.A. (Twan) Maintz, secretary of the Graduate School of Natural Sciences and former PhD student himself, will give you some general information on what it means to be a PhD student in the Netherlands.
