The students association for chemistry in Utrecht is the U.S.S. Proton, freely translated it’s the: Utrecht Chemical Student’s Association “Proton”. Similar to the most other study associations in Utrecht, Proton organizes many different recreative activities, such as parties, drinks and sports, but also a Gala, a Hitchhikers match and many other activities.
Besides providing the means to relax after and during your study, we also represent the students towards the Department of Chemistry, we offer books at a discount, lab journals, practice exams, and information about internships and career possibilities.
Why are we unique? We are all chemists! We organize many chemistry related activities such as lectures, symposia, excursions to companies and institutes and two foreign study tours. These activities are all organized by and for chemistry students.
Proton has an open and relaxed atmosphere and just might be the association for you if you study Nanomaterials: Chemistry and Physics and if you want to meet more chemistry students. If you want some more information, you can always visit our website, but also you are always very welcome to come and visit us at the Buys Ballotbuilding, room 281/282, for a cup of coffee during the courses, or any other time.
Utrecht Study Association for Cognitive Artificial Intelligence (USCKI) 'Incognito' is the study association for all students of the bachelor CKI and the master Al.
Incognito organises all sorts of activities, both study related (excursions, talks) and non-study related (togethers, parties). Since our bachelors program is part of the Humanities faculty, our chamber is situated in the city centre of Utrecht. Feel free to come by at Drift 21 2.06.
